INTRODUCTION
“For the rest of my life, I’ll be with you.. I’ll stay by your side honest and true.. 'Til the end of my time, I’ll be loving you.. loving you.. huuuuu uuuu.. “ I was singing. Then suddenly my friend said “Would you please stop singing by your gold voice Okti, I even can’t understand the words in my book”.
That was the sign that she was disturbed by my voice when she tried to understand the words in her book. I broke her concentration by singing. When I stopped singing, she could understand the words in her book well. Meanwhile me, I can still understand the words in my book while I am listening to music and sometimes singing.
That is the differences of the learning style between my friend and I. What is actually the learning style? Learning style is the method that we use in learning. Learning methods or learning style is divided into some parts.  Have you ever heard about visual, auditory, and kinesthetic? Those three things are the learning methods that will be discussed in this paper clearly. So which one is yours? Let’s take a look to the discussion below.

DISCUSSION
In Quantum stated that “ modalitas visual auditori atau kinestetik (V-A-K). Walaupun masing masing dari kita belajar dengan menggunakan ketiga modalitas ini pada tahapan tertentu, kebanyakan orang lebih cenderung pada salah satu diantara ketiganya”.
Every one processes and learns new information in different ways. There are three main cognitive learning styles: visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. The common characteristics of each learning style listed below can help you understand how you learn and what methods of learning best fits you. Understand how you learn can help maximize time you spend studying by incorporating different techniques to custom fit various subjects, concepts, and learning objectives. Each preferred learning style has methods that fit the different ways an individual may learn best.
1.      Visual style
People who use visual style in learning will understand the lesson well by seeing. They will prefer to read the new lesson first before they learn that lesson. Reading the book and seeing the pictures inside are the style in learning they love.
The characteristics are :

e.       Learns better in lecturers by watching them.
The helpful tips                       :
a.       Turn notes into pictures or charts.
b.      Avoid distractions (windows, doorways, etc.)
c.       Learn the big picture first and then focus on the details.
d.      Color code parts of new concepts in your notes.
e.       Search the videos of that lesson.
2.      Auditory Style.
People who use this style focus on the sound. They love to listen the lesson. eHow stated that “ people who use auditory style will feel more comfortable if they learn while they listen to the music”.
The characteristics are :

b.      Often prefers to be told how to do things and then summarizes the main points out loud to help with memorization.
c.       Notice different aspects of speaking
d.      Often has talents in music and may concentrate better with soft music playing in the background.
The helpful tips are                  :

b.      Repeat the material out load and in your own words.
c.       Discuss materials in your study groups so that you can learn by hear their opinion toward the material.
d.      Read textbooks aloud.
e.       Listen to wordless background music while studying.
3.      Kinesthetic Style
People who use kinesthetic style in learning will learn better by seeing what others do and then follow them.
The characteristics are :
a.       Likes to use the hands-on approach to learn new material.
b.      Generally good in math and science.
c.       Would prefer demonstrate how to do something rather than verbally explain it.
d.      Usually prefers group work more than others.
The helpful tips                       :
a.       Take study breaks often
b.      Learn new material while doing something active (e.g read a textbook while on a treadmill).
c.       Chew gum while studying
d.      Work while standing
e.       Try to take classes with instructors who encourage demonstrations and fieldwork.

CONCLUSION
Learning style or learning method is a kind of trick from us, to make ourselves easier in understand the lesson. Everyone has their own style in learning. Whatever the style is, make sure the style that you have will not make you difficult to understand the lesson. Even though you feel you will as smart as your friends who use auditory style, you may not follow their style if that style is not appropriate on you. Just optimalize the method that you have.
